Description
Each player receives 3 cards and the top card from the draw pile is turned over in the center of the table. Each player in turn places one (or more) card(s) in the cauldron if the subject represented begins or ends like the visible ingredient (shark - cushion, rabbit - llama). In the more difficult rule, we play simultaneously and introduce the special cards. In all cases, we name aloud the object represented when we place a card. First, we look at the cards with the children, we name the objects represented, we sort the cards by number of syllables, by sounds, etc. Beyond the game, Salt or Chili is a support for multiple language activities and discoveries around sounds and syllables.
