Description
Just like in nature, the Schleich® Wild Life reindeer has a dense, long, grey-brown coat.
Reindeer are deer that live in large herds in the colder regions of North America, Northern Europe, and Northern Asia. In the wild, reindeer have bar-shaped antlers, like those of the reindeer in Schleich® Wild Life. They are the only deer in which female reindeer also have antlers. They are also distinguished by their hooves. They are very wide and spread apart when the reindeer runs. They make a typical reindeer-clacking noise.
Funny detail
In order to be well camouflaged in the snowy landscape, their fur becomes lighter in winter.
