Papaya boats (multilingue)

Everyone wants them, those sweet papayas that fall fresh from the palm trees. But only those who can get their boat to the right place at the right time will reap the rewards, or more precisely: the papayas. But who is paddling which boat through the colorful jungle rivers remains a secret until the very end. The tension builds from round to round and intensifies until the end of the game. With "Papaya Boats," the Viennese game publisher Piatnik presents a beautifully illustrated board game that introduces children aged six and over to bluffing and tactical thinking.

Once the five boats are assembled, they are placed directly on the game board. This represents a circuit with twelve single-colored or two-colored water fields. In principle, each child can choose which of the five differently colored boats they want to use. It is, of course, possible to bluff or intentionally place other people's boats in the wrong place. The aim is to intelligently and discreetly improve the position of your own boat. Ultimately, you only get points if you collect papayas in your own boat. This is determined shortly before the start of the game using the boat cards. This way, everyone knows their color, but keeps it secret from the others.
