Description
Just like the Schleich® Wild Life snow leopard, the snow leopard has light grey fur with black rosettes.
The snow leopard is a large cat that lives in the high, rocky mountains of Central Asia. It feeds mainly on sheep, ibex, and goats. Its thick fur protects it from the bitter cold and is so beautiful that many of them fall victim to poaching. This is why the snow leopard is now an endangered species. Like the Schleich® Wild Life snow leopard, it is distinguished by its tail, which is almost as long as its body.
Funny detail
The snow leopard uses its bushy tail as a rudder for jumping and to protect itself from the cold.
