Le Roy des Ribauds is a card game adapted from the famous comic strip created by Vincent Brugeas and Ronan Toulhoat.
At the start of the game, each player is dealt a hand of 3 cards, and a row of 4 face-down cards, called the Courtyard, is created. There are 4 types of cards: King, Queen, Knight, and Assassin.
During their turn, a player can either turn over a Courtyard card, revealing it, or play a card from their hand to replace a card already on the Courtyard. The player can place their card face up, activating its effect, or face down.
Each type of card has its own effect, and the King, Queen, and Assassin have their own victory conditions, called conspiracies. Be the first to complete one of these conspiracies to win the game!
