Description
Octave is very envious of his friend Félicie, who receives letters from her cousin Célestine. Why does he never receive any? Probably because he has neither a mailbox nor a cousin. To sort out these small details, Octave goes to the hardware store. The store sells him a magnificent mailbox and gives him the address of his cousin Winnifred, who lives in Australia. Now that Octave has everything he needs, he can send his first letter. He chooses the W, for Winnifred. Thus begins a long correspondence that will take the alphabet from one end of the world to the other and give rise to a beautiful friendship.
