Description
Tinker horses inherited the power of the Shire, the strength of the Clydesdale, the majesty of the Curly, and the poise of the Dale pony. These horses were brought by nomads to Great Britain and Ireland as working and draft horses. The horse's temperament was very important at the time: it had to be extremely gentle and docile. Even today, the Tinker is renowned and appreciated for these qualities and is also very suitable for equine therapy.
