Description
Male giraffes are so tall that they could look out of a second-story window and say "Cuckoo." Their tongues are up to 50 centimeters long, immune to thorny grasses, and have an unusual color: dark blue. This color protects them from sunburn when they use it to wrap around and tear off tree leaves. Between meals, even animals as large as giraffes need to sleep. When there is no danger, they lie down for a nap; but in the wild, they most often sleep standing up.
