It's December 25th. The gift-giving tour is over, and everyone at the North Pole is enjoying a well-deserved vacation. Everyone, except for the cook elf, Kyou Beard, who's not having fun at all! If he took a vacation, no one would have anything to eat.
Although each elf plays a well-defined role from which he is not supposed to deviate, Slush the elf (accompanied by his faithful friend Rudolph) decides to improvise as a cook in order to surprise his favorite cook and give his favorite cook a little respite.
At the stroke of midnight, Slush and Rudolph head to the kitchen to prepare some delicious meals. Their only problem: They don't know how! No matter! By mixing all their friends' favorite ingredients, the result is bound to be a gourmet dish! The smells released attract in no time the whole range of polar animals who arrive, not without noise. All this noise in turn attracts Santa Claus and the other elves who are very surprised to find the kitchen in disarray. Slush then explains the good deed he was trying to do, and everyone is touched, but also surprised because at the workshop no one has ever dared to do anything other than their own task.
Despite the somewhat disappointing results, Slush enjoyed cooking. He then came up with the idea of offering everyone the chance to learn a second trade. Santa and the elves are thrilled at the prospect of broadening their horizons. Everyone takes turns becoming a student and a teacher! And of all the choices, the reindeer are the most surprising!
